This unit is concerned with safe working practices and the basic principles of communications systems.  It is a mandatory unit to achieve the full C&G 3667-02 Level 2 Award in Communications Cabling.

102 � City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 102 Fibre Optic Cabling for an Internal Environment

Practical & theory knowledge to Install, terminate and test fibre-optic cable within data communications systems. With the integration of fibre optical technology into LAN�s, Ship,  Access, SCADA, CCTV and traffic systems, this comprehensive course provides you with the knowledge, skills & confidence  to seek employment in a wide range of areas.

103 � City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 103 Fibre Optic Cabling for an External Environment

Practical & theory knowledge to install, terminate and test fibre-optic cable in an external environment and provides trainees with all skills required to get a job in this expanding industry. This course covers the installation expected within areas such as railway, highways, renewable energy, Digital CATV and telecom provision.

104 � City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 104 Copper Cabling for an Internal Environment

There will always be a requirement for trained technicians who can install and test data networks for a wide range of applications within copper systems., we bring the reality of the working environment into the classroom.in one of Europe�s largest simulators, giving you all the skills you need to install and test copper based communications cables, to include telephone cabling.
