telephone, payment by cheque must clear prior to attending any course unless
agreed in advance by writing.

Why are the City & Guilds 3666 courses listed as separate
units and Fasttrack?
1. Option 1: Some wish to have more time also attend over a
period of weeks or months, they would then choose the separate units as their
preferred choice for flexibility.
2. Option 2: Fasttrack simply means combining more than one
unit into a shorter period, this usually suits most candidates due to reduced
course cost, accommodation and lost working
What experience do you require to do the fibre optic
course?
No previous experience is required, the training is for
beginners and experienced users alike.
How can you learn or attend City & Guilds 3666 unit 2 & 3
in five days?
This is primarily because of the overlap in both practical and
theory, if you choose to do both units over separate five day blocks, you would
be repeat approx 85% of the same content.
Can I do say unit 2 & 4 or 3 & 4 in the same week?
No, this wouldn't be possible due to the vast variation in
practical and theory content, this can only be achieved with unit 2 & 3.
What qualifications can I
gain after the City & Guilds?
Your next step after you've
achieved your City & Guilds in fibre optics would be advanced test and
measurement.

Will I get a job once I'm
qualified?
We are able to put you in touch
with other professionals within the industry that may be able to help. We have
excellent links with employment agencies, as well as having a job vacancy board
on site with regular updates.

What equipment will I have
to bring to the course with me?
You will not need to bring any
equipment with you, but we do recommend toe protected footwear.

Will I have to purchase
books or manuals?
No, we provide full training notes
and all assessment documents.

What should I wear?
Don't turn up dressed in your
Sunday best! Cable preparation work can be messy so old clothes will be most
suitable. Toe protector boots will be handy if you have them, as most courses
cover a lot of external installation work. However, we do provide overalls to
all trainees.

Fibreplus course tutors range from
communication engineers, telecom managers and other industry related
professionals. All are experts in fibre optics and are able to provide you with
their personal views of the industry.
Can training be provided at the
customers own location?
Yes, training can be delivered at
any location, but please call to check that the site is suitable and what
equipment should be available.
What if I wish to delay attending the course?
You are more than welcome to delay
attending the course date you have booked, we accept that problems can occur due
to unforeseen circumstances, however we expect the same respect as we provide to
our customers and would appreciate as much notice as possible. you will be
provided a list of all future dates to choose from. Cancelations will
incur a cost as follows due to credit card charges and administration costs
place on Fibreplus Ltd through your booking the scale of charges are as follows.
What if I wish to cancel attending
the course?
The whole point of booking a course
is to guarantee a placement, cancelation just inconveniences others who wish to
attend, not to mention the admin nightmare it causes with certification admin
and costs. Cancelations will incur a cost as follows due to credit card charges
and administration costs place on Fibreplus Ltd through your booking the scale
of charges are as follows.

Why can I not purchase some of the items within your shop area?
The items that
require price on application (P.O.A) fluctuate due to currency changes around the
world.
Why would I
purchase a FSM-60S when I could have the FSM-18S which will save me thousands of
pounds?
If you are
predominately splicing single mode fibre, it would be better to purchase the
FSM-60S due to it's core to core alignment technology, which will ensure correct
alignment of the much smaller core diameter and any offsets within the fibre, if
however you are intending to splicing more multi-mode, FTTx with a lesser
percentage of single-mode then the FSM-18S would be the correct choice..

What happens if I wish to cancel or clear my
cart?
A transaction to purchase will not happen, if you
do not proceed to checkout and input you card or bank details, after one hour
the cart will clear if inactive.
To clear or change item in the cart i.e. number
of items. input 0 or otherwise and recalculate invoice.
